I have family in Rum Cay and think anyone purchasing property there ought to verify and re-verify deeds thers a major developer in court right now and they're still selling..maybe someone ought to shut down the web-sites ot gives all the others a bad rap

The good news is that all of the court cases are resolved, and any new sales are legit. Title insurance is always a wise move for any purchase.

I just want to give a big hug to Dolores Wilson and any of those who were on Rum Cay in 1976...with Garry and Connie Thomas and students. I still think of Kay's Bar and all the good folks of that period. Dolores...if you read this I have a great photo of Cop Bain.

I was looking for information on the HMS Conqueror and came upon your page.
My Gr/Grandfather was a sailor on board in 1861 he did return to England in time to be married in 1872.
How I would love to pay a visit.
We have done many trips abroad but Rum Cay seems so far away.

Wow! I can't say how exciting it was to find this site. I spent a great deal of time on Rum Cay as a child back in the late 60's/early 70's, and always have fond memories of the island and everyone. The website and Herald are wonderful to read and remember. It is so wonderful to see some familiar names. I hope to be able to visit again someday.

Hello,
my name's Jacqui and I have just booked my flight to Rum Cay! I can hardly wait after seeing all of these beautiful photos on the web site. I will be staying with two friends that live on the Island, Darrell and Brigit. This is a great site! (both electronically and geography-wise).
It's been over 10 years since I've been to the island, and hopefully I'll be back soon...I left a sneaker on the island, as well as part of my leg, from a shark bite on the island 10 years ago...I need to return, since I missed out on Delores' wonderful dinner she had planned.
